Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) "Masal" is sort of Jean-Paul Prat's "KÖHNTARKÖSZ" - a 42-minute power epic in the tradition of the 70's edition of Christan Vander's "zeuhl" genre. This is the 1995 reissue of this track, which has been originally released in 1985, with no less than four bonus tracks, adding another 34 minutes (!) of pleasure. Those add-ons are not garbage from the back side of the archives - they all are excellent compositions, pointing into the direction that Jean-Paul Prat would take on his later releases. Favorite track: Messagers de Notre-Dame.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer.
